Physical Features

Transparency: transparent sheet has a excellent light transmission and glossiness. The light transmission of transparent solid sheet could reach as 90%. The crystal sheet has special treatment to enhance light scattering, while sunlight pass through frosted sheet it could be subdued and focused beam.

Anti-UV treatment: with 1 side anti-uv treatment, the sheets have a long life against yellow.

Impact strength: Polycarbonate sheet has an excellent performance on impact strength and it could keep its high impact strength in a wide temperature range from -40 to +120. 

For multi wall sheet, its 80 times as the same thickness of glass. Solid sheet could be 200 times stronger than the same thickenss of glass and 30 times of acrylic sheet, polycarbonate sheet also named unbreakable glass . Subject to extremes whether such as hail, snowfall, storm, ice, or other impact caused by sports ball, normally glass or acrylic sheet are typical brittle, and polycarbonate sheet show only as small indentations.

Bulletproof: With high impact strength, solid sheet with over 8mm could with a good bulletproof performance.

Service termperature: polycarbonate sheet is suitable for extreme weather and could work as well under  40 upon 120.  it will be cracked under the temperature of -100 and could be soften upon 146.

Fire proof: Tested by China National Centre for Quality Supervision & Testing of fire resistant building materials, each behaviour of GOODLIFE sheet has been rated ClassB1 according to the standard of GB8624-1997.

Thermal insulation: The linear expansion rate of polycarboante is the lowest in all synthetic resin.  Its arround 0.065 mm/m. while there will be slight differency between directions. The K-value of polycarbonate sheet is 1/4 as that of glass, 1/300 as that of iron, 1/1000 as that of aluminum, 1/12000 as that of copper. Its good for heat preservation so that to save heating energy. Multi-wall sheetwith inside structure could achieve a very good performance on thermal insulation.

Chemical resistance: polycarbonate sheets are generally not recommended for use with acetone, ketenes, ethers and aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons in addition to aqueous or alcoholic alkaline solution, ammonia gas and its solution and amines.

Please note: compatible Neoprene, EPT or EPDM rubbers with an approximate Shore hardness of A65 are recommended to use with polycarbonate sheet. Silicone sealants are generally recommended. Other material should be checked compatibility before use.

Sound insulation: for sound insulation, its decided by its hardness, weight, structure and so on. Polycarbonate sheet is popular to use as sound absorbtion wall for highway.  The maximum obtainable sound transmission class for 10mm twin-wall sheet is 19dB, triple-wall with 16mm is 21dB and solid sheet with 6mm is 29dB.

Easy process and installation: polycarbonate sheet could be cut by hands and cold bent. Solid polycarbonate sheet could be also with thermal process and very good performance on thermal forming. SUPERIS polycarbonate sheet could be bent and cut by hands mostly, and it wont crack with sharp granule to hurt workers and children. Most simple installation can be completed by hand working, no extra machine.

Light weight: the weight of SUPERIS polycarbonate sheet is only 1/12 of glass in the same thickness. Due to its light weight and excellent impact strength, the installation cost can be cut down as half .

Anti-fog: using Markrolon anti-fog materials and relative technology, the anti-fog material extruded on the sheet surface to against fog and the moisture will soon gather to become a drop and flow down smoothly along the wall.

No pollution and environment protect: theres no radialization and harmful gas or water during prudction and using, SUPERIS polycarbonate sheet could be recycled and help to protect envirement. Its a safety green building materials.
